LinkedIn Advertising Tutorial 2016 – How To Advertise Efficiently And Successfully On LinkedIn Webinar Many people really do not fully understand LinkedIn Advertising and how it can be used to your advantage. It is also a feature that is often going through changes which means that you need to be adaptable for it to work. Their advertising platform is underutilised by many people because it is not very cheap, but if you are serious about business it can be very profitable for you. Where it really stands out is that you will have a very targeted ability to choose exactly what type of people you want to advertise to. LinkedIn is a platform of highly focused and serious people who are on it to connect with other people in business. These people include their work histories, skillsets, and interests on LinkedIn and you can then advertise to exactly the focus group that you are targeting. Beside normal on-page ads, LinkedIn also does sponsored content, which is just a fancy word an advertisement. A company will pay linked in to put their message in different peoples news feeds. These people can also be targeted just like with normal ads. There is also a like and a comment option on these sponsored content posts. These options are great in the sense, that they allow you to then go and contact people that were interested in your product. When you finally decide to actually start advertising on LinkedIn there will be different types of ads to choose from. If you just create a simple advert you will only get a limited number of characters to deliver your message. The next option that is offered to you is to upload a picture. Finally you need to create your link so when people click on it they get redirected to your product or firms page. The next set of options will allow you to target exactly the people that you want to see your ad. It will allow you to target anywhere in the world, and even what type of people you want to see your ad. You will get a few selections which make it possible for you to pinpoint your ads to the exact type of people that might be interested in your product. You can also go a lot deeper if you decide to. There is then the option to choose from PPC (Pay Per Click) or PPI (Pay Per Impression) for your ads. It is usually better to go for the PPC option as it guarantees you that you only pay for the people that actually go to your website. You have complete control over your budget, type of ads and also type of people that you are targeting. You will then get detailed reports with demographics of who is actually clicking on your ads. LinkedIns advertising platform is highly effective if you are using it in the correct manner and it is imperative that you start using it as soon as possible, since the competition will get tougher.
