In this video I talk about Vanity URLs – how you should get them on every Social Media account you are active on and ensure they all match. This helps you gain an identity on Social Media and create consistency throughout your online presence.
How to customize your LinkedIn public profile URL
It is important that you create an easy to remember and unique LinkedIn public profile URL to make it easy for people to find you online. To begin with, hover your mouse on the word Profile on the navigation bar, on the drop down menu click Edit Profile: When your LinkedIn profile opens, look for the assigned LinkedIn URL just below your profile picture. To the right of your assigned URL you will see the gear icon, click on it. A new page will open. On the right hand side, go to the Your public profile URL section and click Create your custom URL. Change your URL to something unique and easy to remember. Enter your name as you would like it to appear and click on SAVE. Once you have saved your custom URL you are good to go.
